In-Store Purchases:

In-store appraisals are available for insurance purposes for a $40 fee. You will receive a close-up digital image of your piece of jewelry with every insurance appraisal. Bulk rates are available if you have more than 6 pieces. 

First Peoples Jewelers Appraisal:

An appraisal is a written document which states approximate replacement value and specifications of an item. First Peoples Jewelers appraisals are calculated using the most current market prices of any precious metals, diamonds or other precious or semi-stones.

If you are purchasing a piece of jewelry which contains a GIA certified diamond, you will receive the GIA certification along with a written appraisal of your piece of finished jewelry from First Peoples Jewelers.

The appraisal you receive from First Peoples Jewelers includes a detailed description of the item being appraised, digital image of the item, cut, color, clarity, and carat weight of any diamonds or millimeter dimensions for gemstones. All values are approximate, except diamond jewelry when accompanied by GIA certification.

Your appraisal is there as backup in the uneventful case of theft or loss of your item. You must submit your appraisal to your insurance company for coverage. Your insurance agency will determine the coverage rate for your piece of jewelry based upon the appraisal.
